Sometimes your body requires an intensive healing phase to get to baseline health. Then you can ease off into a maintenance phase.

Non-restrictive diets

Dairy, gluten, and sugar aren’t the root cause of your symptoms. If you’re reacting to them, it points to a deeper issue we need to address. We may temporarily cut out some foods during your healing phase, but the goal is to build resilience so you can enjoy all foods again.

What the heck does “root cause approach” mean?

I always use a root-cause approach with my clients — but what does this actually mean?

Basically, there are two ways of approaching your problems: symptom-focused care & root-cause-focused care.

I believe that symptoms are messages from your body telling you something is out of balance and needs to be addressed.

A root-cause approach addresses the actual cause of your symptoms/health concerns. Whether it’s nutrient deficiencies, inflammation, gut health, hormonal imbalances, or other conditions, the goal is to achieve balance in the body.

We will build your health back up to a place of resilience to help you escape the negative cycle of chronic symptoms so you can get back to your vibrant self.

Every system in your body is inextricably linked.

A good diet is just one piece of the puzzle — your health is also greatly impacted by your lifestyle, mindset, and exercise. This is why I’ll never just give you a meal plan and send you away.

Instead, I use a holistic, root-cause approach — tackling your health issues right at the source. You don’t have to learn to live with your symptoms or cover them up with medications that wreak havoc on your body.

I’ll give you customized meal plans that suit your preferences, and exercises tailored to your lifestyle. I’ll help you identify the barriers in your mindset that may be inhibiting your progress and give you practical tips for overcoming them.
